How We Can Work Together 1:1

I offer a unique and personalized approach to healing that blends evidence-based psychotherapy with the power of creativity, movement, and self-discovery. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling called to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a path toward lasting change and personal meaning.

Therapy for Adults

We spend so much of our lives hiding, performing, and pretending, and these patterns can cause symptoms of depression, anxiety, burnout, and isolation.

In our sessions, we will explore together the roles you’ve played, the masks you’ve worn, and the stories you’ve told about yourself or have been passed down to you in your history to uncover the real, authentic you.

Some of the things you might be experiencing include

  • anxiety, codependency, or ongoing stress

  • Feeling unfulfilled, stuck, or unsure of who you are

  • Navigating relationship issues, dating patterns, or loneliness

  • Recovering from trauma or looking to break free from childhood patterns

  • Longing to access your creativity and live more meaningfully

Integrating a blend of different modalities (including talk therapy, creative approaches, and reconnecting to our bodies), we will explore your history, recover from past trauma and pains, and work towards stepping into our lives with confidence, clarity, and direction. Change is hard, and not impossible with the right support and collaborative care.

Through working together, you may gain more understanding of your inner world and emotional patterns. You may explore setting boundaries with clarity and compassion, learn to regulate your nervous system to feel more in tune with your body, experience peace and less stress, and move towards making more aligned and authentic choices to improve not only your relationship with yourself, the people around you, and the types of people you want to attract more of in your life.

Therapy for Adolescents

Adolescents come to therapy for a wide range of reasons, including navigating social and academic pressure, anxiety and depression, traumatic experiences, changes at home, or experiencing changes in their identity, bodies, and their relationships to themselves and others.

I specialize in working with adolescents as they move through this stage of development, offering a space separate from their school, home, and peers where they can:

  • Process emotions

  • Learn how to cope with and tolerate challenges and big feelings

  • Gain insight and understanding into themselves

  • And feel more confident, seen, accepted, and resilient

Each session is tailored to the specific needs of the teen and may include:

  • Creative and expressive approaches

  • Psychodynamic and behavioral talk therapy

  • And guidance for parents to help their teen thrive and strengthen their relationship.

Therapy for Children

Children express their emotions through their play, behavior, and actions. Children may come to therapy for a wide variety of reasons, whether it is a new diagnosis or learning challenge, a change in the family home, a recent or current traumatic event, experience, or loss, behavioral changes at home or at school, or difficulty regulating and expressing big feelings, whether it be anger, fear, worry, or sadness. Perhaps you notice your child feeling more distressed than usual, low energy, or having physical symptoms like headaches, stomachaches, or challenges sleeping.

Through our sessions together, I will integrate play, creative expression, and talk therapy to support your child in feeling more in control to regulate their emotions, and building confidence and self-esteem as we address any current challenging behaviors, issues, or big emotions. We may also work on strengthening communication skills, improving their relationships with peers and family members, and helping children feel more motivated and confident both academically and socially.

My work focuses on supporting children in being themselves and helping them navigate life’s challenges with encouragement, warmth, play, joy, creativity, and connection.

Other Ways I Can Help

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and painful emotional patterns. It works by allowing the brain to reprocess stuck memories—those often at the root of negative self-beliefs like “I’m not enough” or overwhelming reactions tied to past experiences.

Before starting EMDR therapy, you may feel anxious, hypervigilant, or caught in repetitive emotional loops. Together, we’ll identify the memories and beliefs that feel most distressing, and I’ll guide you through a structured process using bilateral stimulation (such as back-and-forth eye movements) to help unlock those patterns. Clients often report a reduction in trauma symptoms, greater emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of calm and clarity in their daily lives.

I am trained in attachment-focused EMDR through the Parnell Institute, which means I bring a warm, relational approach to this work—especially helpful for those navigating complex or developmental trauma. We’ll use our therapeutic relationship as a secure base while processing memories, supporting not only symptom relief but also long-term emotional repair and self-worth.

EMDR can be offered as a focused stand-alone therapy or integrated into broader psychotherapy sessions, depending on your needs.

  • Not all blocks are clinical. If you are a creative individual who feels stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed in your creative life, coaching offers a supportive space to reignite your inner voice and bring your vision forward.

Creative coaching may support you if you:

    • Are stuck in perfectionism or creative paralysis

    • Feel disconnected from your sense of purpose or passion

    • Are starting or restarting a project that feels deeply personal

    • Are looking to live more creatively, expressively, and intuitively

These sessions are action-oriented, emotionally attuned, and customized to your creative rhythm. It's about unlocking what already lives inside you.

  • An experiential, embodied form of therapy that helps people explore emotions, relationships, and internal roles through story, action, and play.

  • Creative arts therapy blends psychotherapy with expression through movement, art, role play, and storytelling. It’s ideal for clients—of any age—who process feelings beyond just words.

  • I offer gentle, holistic therapy in NYC for older adults, caregivers, and individuals navigating the transitions of aging, illness, or anticipatory grief. Sessions are grounded in presence, ritual, and emotional processing.

    Clients often experience:

    • Relief from fear, confusion, or spiritual distress

    • A deepened sense of peace and meaning

    • Strengthened connection with loved ones

    • Space to reflect on legacy and life review

Therapy may include: Narrative therapy, somatic support, expressive arts therapy, guided reflection, and caregiver consultation.

As a trained end-of-life doula in NYC, I offer emotional, spiritual, and logistical guidance for individuals and families preparing for death. Doulas support the dying process by creating calm, sacred, and compassionate space.

    This may include:

    • Advance care planning

    • Ritual or ceremony design

    • Life review and legacy projects

    • Vigil support

    • Support for loved ones

Doula care is available in person or virtually, and can complement psychotherapy or exist as its own supportive process.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All sessions are offered virtually or in person on the Upper West Side of NYC.

  • I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide superbills (receipts for services) that you can submit for reimbursement through your insurance plan or FSA/HSA account. Many clients do receive partial reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your insurance company to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.

  • My standard fee for individual and family therapy sessions ranges from $225 to $300 for a 50-minute session. I understand that financial needs vary, and I do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. We’ll discuss your rate and options during our initial consultation, with the intention of finding something that works for both of us.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the missed appointment. I recognize that life is unpredictable—emergencies and illness happen—and I approach those situations with flexibility and care, assessing them on a case-by-case basis.
